Healthy Food in Kuching

We had a family gathering with some healthy food not long ago. It is a restaurant named Avocbar which is situated at Lot 52, Ground Floor, Block D1 Saradise, 93350 Kuching.

Avocbar provides fresh food, especially fresh vegetable which is pesticide free. It is Muslim friendly, no added sugar and prepared with olive oil.

We have tried several dishes as follows :

Avocbar Signature Salad

Avocado Drink

Smoke Duck Bowl

Salmon Fish Cauliflower Fried Rice

We gathered in joyful harmony, sharing a feast that was as kind to our health as it was to our spirits. We will absolutely be back for more.

Company Trip to Taiwan in 2007 (First Entry)

Tempting Food in Taiwan

It's a pleasure for me to visit Taiwan in October 2007, by following company trip. Basically, I think Taiwan is well known for the delicious food, which in chinese called 小吃.
My colleagues and I had taken a lot of photos for the food there. Here is a page to share with.
The most famous 'ice kacang' in Taiwan which is ice mango as follow:

Yummy yummy... I really love ice mango. While worried that I can't have it anymore when back to Singapore, my colleague has introduced to me that actually Singapore has it also. Luckily...

Besides, of cos, the most popular gu bak mee is also here:

Taiwan has several night markets which are selling local food. One of them is Si Lin Night Market. Two things that must try at Si Lin Night Market are:

Pearl Tea

Chicken Steak

One restaurant that is really an eye opener for me called 五角船板, direct translation to English is Five Angles Wood of a Ship (sounds weird). I must admit this restaurant is the most unique restaurant I ever went. It is being designed by an artistic woman, with the look below:

Ya, in fact, the building behind her, is the external look of the restaurant. It is really a special look which amazed me. Moreover, the interior design of the restaurant is also a special one:

I found out that artistic designer likes women's bodies. Her pictures drawn and statues carved are all focusing on a beautiful shape of women's bodies. Have a closer look on the red statue:

The food inside the restaurant:

As we all can see, even the fruits are also welly carved.

Taiwan is indeed a nice place to visit if a person is food lover:)
